I first began practicing yoga in 2001. I quickly discovered that the benefits of a regular yoga practice went beyond the physical, bringing a new sense of calm and steadiness to my life. I have been learning and practicing ever since. With a background in education, and a passion for helping others, teaching yoga seemed like a natural fit, and I began teaching yoga in 2013. As I discover more about myself, and yoga’s potential to create meaningful change in one’s life, I am drawn to learn more, and to share my compassion, knowledge, and experiences to benefit others. I believe yoga has something to offer everyone, and encourage students to come to their mats to quiet their minds, move with grace and intention, and make each practice their own.
